CARBON NEUTRALITY PRINTING

The lab we work with was chosen for its quality but also for its environmental awareness. As of 2019, ThePrintspace is proud to be carbon neutral. This means that they start by reducing their emissions as much as possible and then offset all remaining carbon emissions attributable to their business, including:

- Their energy needs
- Data storage
- The production of prints and their materials
- The delivery

WITH OUR LAB, WE PROMISE MUSEUM QUALITY

All our prints are made on Fujifilm paper.

Fujicolor Crystal Archive professional quality paper with a semi-matte finish has a slightly stippled coating, producing a very natural finish that respects color tones. This versatile paper is suitable for all photo prints and ensures a very long life.

With excellent detail and natural color reproduction, it produces high quality photo enlargements.

FAQ

Answers to questions you may have about our art prints and their delivery.

Are all your photographs original?

Absolutely, all of our photographs are original works that we put our hearts into capturing during our adventures.

What happens if the limited edition runs out?

If the edition comes to an end, we exclude completely the reissue and renumbering. The work will be considered sold out and removed from the gallery. Copies will continue to live off the shelf at exhibitions.

What does carbon neutrality mean for our lab?

Climate change is a global threat that is already having an impact on everyone's lives.

It is vital that all individuals, businesses, organizations and governments contribute to the common goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Specialist analysts calculated ThePrintSpace's carbon footprint using criteria developed in 2018 by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

After analyzing their carbon footprint, they implemented changes to minimize their carbon emissions.

When they have no alternative, they turn to Gold Standard to offset their CO2 emissions - a foundation recommended by Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace and WWF UK. Through Gold Standard, ThePrintSpace invests in renewable energy projects.

Offsetting their greenhouse gas emissions is primarily a short-term plan, not a long-term solution. ThePrintSpace continues to look for ways to further reduce its emissions and implement the necessary changes as they occur.

What is the difference between a print and a silver print?

One of the most common questions we get asked is, "What is the difference between a C-Print and a pigment inkjet print?"

What is a C-Print?

One could define this technique as the darkroom of the digital age: an authentic photo print made using a chromogenic substrate and process, but where the light source comes from a digital file rather than a negative. A silver halide photosensitive paper is exposed to an LED or laser light source and then developed using a conventional chemical process. Your paper print is not printed, it is exposed to light and its chemistry reacts to it, revealing the photograph.

Are prices dynamic?

We reserve the right to modify our prices but we are absolutely not in a speculative approach. We wish to propose original and quality works at accessible prices.

How can I be compensated if my print arrives with a problem?

It's that simple. If you receive a damaged print, or if your order is defective in any way, we will send you a free replacement and cover the shipping costs.
