Between 2018 and 2020, we crossed Europe on foot. We accomplished a unique journey through the wildest and highest lands of the continent. An adventure beyond borders to better understand our world.
Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Northern Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkey.
The crossing of each of these countries was full of surprises. Territories, encounters, cultures... everything contributed to make this experience exceptional.
We imagined a route crossing Europe from west to east, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Black Sea, passing as much as possible by the smallest paths. Sometimes relying on long-distance trails, but mostly following our instincts, we drew this route as a guide for our crossing of Europe.
All GPX tracks are freely available and have already been used by many other European hikers. Download them, follow them, modify them according to your desires and do not hesitate to quote us if they are useful to you!

Switzerland was the first country outside the European Union on our journey through Europe, but it turned out to be the most European country on the continent.
The weather window to cross the Alps was short: before June it was too early, after October it was too late and it took 3 or 4 months to cross the Alps.
